If we are being bluntly honest, this place was a massive disappointment. I mean through the few breweries that we have tried, there have been a fair few mediocre ones with very drinkable but nothing special kind of beers. This place reaches a whole new low.
When there are only a few beers on tap, you would expect them to taste good if not great. We tried the Special Pale Ale and the IPA while we visited on a very quiet Sunday afternoon. The Pale Ale was more drinkable but to be honest both of them tasted like beer gone BAD. That mixed in with the fact that the kitchen was closed apart from the raved about and of course very expensive pizzas meant we had a foul taste left in our mouth. It had the looks of your “brochure style brewery” with the wooden decking and stainless steel, but the beers had no substance. Unfortunately this place was not for us.
